Louis Faber is a photographer, cinematographer and camera aficionado based in Berlin and for hire worldwide.
He grew up on film sets studying the ins and outs of the camera department and working in the various roles that compromise it as an electrician, gaffer, AC, and photographer. Louis has had the opportunity to work on a diverse list of projects from small music videos to major international productions and commercial movies. He’s had the privilege to travel around the world learning from filmmakers like Darius Khondji, Ruben Impens, Alejandro G. Iñarritu, Philippe Rousselot and Lana Wachowski. This has helped him develop his unique sensibility camera and lighting and playful approach to filmmaking.
At the same time, he continues to enjoy exploring his point of view, movement, and the art of storytelling through still photography— both analog and digital.
